I’m Featured in an OPL Article

OPL, the Psion stalwart of a simple high level programmign language, is slowly getting itself into a position where it can run on the new Symbian Smartphones. I’m doing my best to make this happen and you can read a good bit about how OPL is doing in this article on Wireless Dev Net.

Franck, one of the advantages to OPL going Open Source is that given the source code for the runtime, it shuoldn’t be too difficult for a competent C++ programmer out there to convert it. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some Code Nut inside UIQ who is probably playing around with it right now. I’m pretty sure it will appear at some point summer 2003…
