The New Season Starts

August 2nd saw the first Cowdenbeath FC game in the current campaign. The Challenge Cup first round was on Saturday. Yet again we were drawn against Ross County, and yet again we’re eliminated in the first round. You can follow the trials of The Blue Brazil at Brian Fraser’s excellent news page.
On an almost completely different note, here’s a picture of the Cowdenbeath FC Stand in the promotion winnign game of 2001. Explaining to Vikki the difference between a Football Team and Cowdenbeath was a bit difficult!

Both in Blue? Cowdenbeath had blue tops and white shorts, the other team had white tops and blue shorts? How difficult is that?
