MMS Saves Lifes in Fife.

Just a quickie to get you thinking this morning. The BBC is reporting that Emergency Services in Fife are piloting a scheme where the Emergency Services have a bundle of Camera Phones and are sending MMS Pictures back to the A and E Department so they can prepare for the more violent emergencies.

Lovely as the fluffy frisbee advert for T-Mobile is, I’d much rather see practical uses of phones being shown on commericals. I’m sure this trial (14 phones) is going to save lifes, and that is something that should be more important than look at me on the beach while you’re stuck at work.
