This arrived in my email box – just like it did for Russ a few weeks ago…

Dear Ewan,
Congratulations on your talk being accepted for the Emerging Technology Conference in February. I have added the talk to the web site, and it will show up there shortly.
O’Reilly Speaker Manager.

More details on the talk (just to show that this is really happening) can be found here. Now to work out how to afford all this. OPL is a Free Open Source Project, so there’s no company funds to pay for it. It may be that I need to get some personal sponsorship for the flights and hotel accomodations. Anyone any ideas?
