Contractually Obligated Orkut Mention
Yes I’m there as well, just like the 6% of the world connected to the Internet. And, just like everyone else, here’s my “huh?” moment. I dived into the gallery to put up a few pictures of Eilidh, Vikki and myself to find this phrase right below the upload button:
Do not upload photos containing children, pets, cartoons, celebrities, nudity, artwork or copyrighted images.
Well, that’s pretty wide ranging. What does that leave that I can put in the gallery? And if that’s the case, what’s the point in a gallery system?

The copyrighted images bit is particularly difficult. If I understand the UK position on copyright law, when you take a picture it automatically gains your copyright, thus it is a copyrighted image.
You don’t have to assert your copyright, it just happens automatically.
