All Moved In

We’ve finally moved in! It’s been a bit hectic, and I’ve found it a lot harder than Ewan has, and there’s a lot we can’t find yet (and a fair bit that got left behind, like the clothespegs, kitchen bin and the tray for Eilidh’s high chair) but at least now we have decent TV and INTERNET!!! :D I’ve missed it ;) And I have a lovely new desk too, decided on which one I would get from the Argos catalogue, went there this morning and discovered it was half price! Bargain.

We’re slowly getting settled in, everyone who’s come to visit has said what an ideal house it is – it’ll be so much better once we finish the unpacking! Eilidh’s starting to settle in, but is still not quite herself. She hasn’t had a dummy since we moved though, and is coping really well without it. Mairi’s still feeding all the time, and isn’t getting into any sort of routine yet, but she is starting to make eyecontact and a few people have been graced with smiles this week. The health visitor’s coming tomorrow so we’ll find out about toddler groups and things in the area. There’s a playbus on Thursdays which I’m really excited about – I’ve seen it around Edinburgh for years, it’s a purple double-decker with a big octopus on the side. Wheeeeeee!

We need to sort out Mairi’s naming day, so could anyone who’s likely to come let me know of any Sundays in September and October you can’t make? We’ll be holding it at our house so the weather had better be good – the garden’s big enough but the house would be a bit of a squeeze! Also, we’ll be doing the fairy godmother wishes again same as we did for Eilidh (if anyone doesn’t know what that was and wants to make a wish whether you can make the naming day or not, email me).

I think that’s everything for now. I’ve got lots of photos to upload, but we haven’t unpacked the infrared port yet so I can’t get them from my phone onto the PC. I’ll nag Ewan later.
