Pathway to Glory Reviewed on All About N-Gage
There are times when I recieve N-Gage games to review where I think, oh god, not another one (case in point would be the lame attempt at Bomberman over the summer). But the package that arrived on Friday morning, direct from Finland, had me all excited. Pathway to Glory is, effectivly, Lasersquad in World War Two, over GPRS.
I’ve a long and detailed review over on All About N-Gage and you should head there if you’ve never heard of Julian Gollop’s masterpieces. If you have heard of them, then guys, this isn;t by him but it’s just like all his stuff, and just as good.
Even though the soundtrack sounds a bit like a Gladiator rip off.

hi ewan!
just stumbled across your bomberman reference.. (coming from erik’s linkblog).
being a classics/bomberman fan myself, i always wondered why these classic games (bomberman, breakout, boulderdash/emeraldmine) are not available for symbian.. at least not really cool versions..
well, a friend and i wrote some stuff.. trying to produce cool versions.. :) not any commercial stuff.. and the gfx surely don’t keep up.. everything homemade..
but maybe the bomberman is something for you.. it has a ‘different’ touch.. but i think you could like it..
have a look here http://www.intensicode.de and please let me know what you think of it.
cheers,
