Although they’re not saying why, given the interest of the Dutch and the RIAA, The Mashuptown.com podcast was always living on borrowed time bandwith. And so it comes to pass that there’s a note up today that it’ll be closing down, the archive will be removed, and th-th-th-that’s all folks.
Bah. The first music podcast (that wasn’t my own) that I checked out for updates. No longer there. If only the music industry realised they could charge double for Mashups because they are two songs, rather than you’re killing the artistic vision of this pre-packaged Britney track.
Humbugs!!!
