Hitting The Airwaves Over Christmas In Edinburgh

If you’re in the Edinburgh area over christmas, you might ant to try tuning to 87.7 FM on your radio. There you’ll find Leith FM, who will be operating on a Restricted Service Licence between 21st Dec and 3rd January. Community Radio, with enough range to cover a few neighbourhoods (although there’s plenty of buildings to bounce the signal off in Auld Reekie).

And yours truly will be taking some of that airtime. I’ll be on the air Monday to Friday 4-7. In the morning. So if you’ve got a touch of the insomniac in you and you fancy hearing a mix of Rock Classics and brand new material, then get yourself to the bottom of the dial!

Place your bets on who’s going to feature, but you can be sure I’ll open with Bleed, by The Revolutions.

One final thing, being community radio, and manned by volunteers, they’ve not sold enough advertising to get through 2006 (I only joined a fortnight ago) so I’ve put up an Ebay Auction for some of the spare advertising itinery, feel free to check out the bidding page.
