Mark Hunter and The Mellow Monday Show, Now on The Podcast Network

A long time ago A few months back, in a galaxy a part of Strathclyde far far away a few miles away from Edinburgh, Mark Hunter decided to leave Adam Curry and Podshow to run the Tartan Podcast. At the time I posted my thoughts on the decision, as did Mark. His reason at the time for leaving?
…I wasn’t happy with the direction the company was moving in, was unable to open a dialogue with them about my concerns, the vibe that was created when I joined last June wasn’t sustained (sadly), and while there are some great, passionate, visionary-types working for the company it would seem that they aren’t the driving force.
I’m delighted to blog that Mark has launched a new show - The Mellow Monday Show - and it is part of The Podcast Network (insert an obvious disclaimer here, for those of you who don’t realise that I am part of TPN). The show is going to be very similar to his sorely missed Sleepy Sunday Show, which was part of the Tartan Podcast, and he’ll continue to produce both the Tartan Podcast (and other podcasts under the Tartan Media label), but I think that launching a new show, but maintaining the old brand and visibility, will serve everyone well.
Of course, the next Podcast Conference is going to see even more confusion between Mark and myself even before C. C. Chapman starts playing silly buggers as he tries to confuse the issue! In any case, Mark, welcome aboard.

Now would I do that? No way! *grin* Psyched to hear about this show. The world hasn’t been the same since the Sleepy Sunday show faded away. Can’t wait to hear this.
