Prepare The Gulags To Number, Fingerprint, File and Scan Everyone in the UK

After last nights playing with words that ensures every new UK passport applicant from 2008 will have to attend a Government Appointed ‘Gulag’ Identification Centre to prove who you are, then be fingerprinted, have your eye iris scanned and recorded, given a database identifier number, and forcibly placed on the central Orwellian database. You’ll have an interview to determine every address where you have lived previously, where you live now, if you are allowed to leave the country, … and a 4 digit PIN code to keep it all secure on your ID card. But if you don’t want to carry the card, that’s okay, you don’t have to till 2010 (that was the compromise that allowed the National ID Card and Database act 2006 through).
And now the bill has cleared Parliament, Charles Clark says that he plans legislation after the next election to make it compulsory for everyone to get a card, whether or not they have a passport. And if you fail to attend one of the gulags when ordered to do so, it’s a £2,500 fine for each missed appointment.
To paraphrase Alan Moore, “Britian will Prevail.”
