On the Road… Again
It’s been a busy month for travelling. After staying in one city for the Edinburgh Fringe (oh yes, that was relaxing and restful) September has already seen a weekend break in Copenhagen, a day of business meetings in London, and a four day jaunt over to Brussels to cover EuroOSCon for The Tech Conference Show. I’m now sitting in the departure lounge (yet again) at Edinburgh Airport to catch a London connection, and then on to New York and Los Angeles, with the eventual goal of reaching the Portable Media Expo in Ontario, California, by Thursday evening.
If you’re going to be there, I’m the one wearing a kilt who you’ll all think is Mark from Tartanpodcast. That’s assuming nothing has changed since last year.
And congrats to British Airways for some common sense. The American Airlines computer wouldn’t link my connecting flight Edinburgh-London to my transatlantic flights, which would have meant 75 minutes to collect bags, run across Heathrow, check in and go through security (again). BA have checked me right through so all I need to do is stroll (ahem) to the transfer bus for Terminal 2. So I can relax a little.
