Why naturally he’s going to harness a select group of people and save the world from a base in Mount Rushmore.

Yes like all Businessmen who leave exciting jobs to live in a life of decadent luxury, hanging around and being bums speaking at Conferences, Calacanis will, visibily, not do anything else worthy with his life. At least in public.

In private I fully expect mysterious copyright crimes to be solved, terrorist DoS attacks defeated, DRM defeated, splogs splattered over their servers… In short, stand by for Calacanis to lead a newly revitalised Team America: World Internet Police.

That’s right, his mysterious benefactor (…maybe an ex-media player who now owns a Basketball team by day and investigates publicy traded companies by night) will supply him with the tools and finance he requires. He’ll set about putting together the perfect crack team by convincing them to join him in place of wherever they are now. Can you spot the gadget expert, new media reporter, swinging hipster, aging rockstar and crack racing driver that have all quietly dissappeared from the radar in the last month and the next?

Come on, you thought Calacanis bio wasn’t written by Jerry Bruckheimer?

    I told Cam that he should contact JC to get involved in TPN with his recent interest in Podcasting but I don’t think Cam has the balls to do it!
