My Tablet PC Needs Web 2.0 Stickers… Send Me Yours Now!

A simple plea. I spent most of yesterday with the tiniest scredriver in the world, a new hard drive, a bundle of wires, solder, heat guns and tweezers to do some DIY MacGyvering to the Compaq TC-1000 Tablet PC that I have. It’s been lying dormant for a while, begging me to return to it. With the upcoming trip to the US involving a LOT of flying and walking round conferences, the lightweight beauty was looking more and more like a good choice to bring along (even though it’s replacemetn widescreen laptop ios the only machine I have with the power to do the heavy duty media editing I’ll need).

Well, she boots again! And while the 1ghz Crusoe isn’t the greatest of CPU’s it’ll do Firefox, IRC and a few other utilities to keep me ticking over while lobby conning. The only problem is the almost nakedness of the base and backof the unit. Where are the Web 2.0 stickers?

So here’s a request, and it’s a very simple one. I need your stickers. Raid the drawers, hit the marketing department, and pop them in an envelope to the office: Ewan Spence, 2F2 12 Gosford Place, Edinburgh, EH6 4BJ.

Flickr pictures will naturally follow.
