Brian Has Returned To Radio 2
YAAY!!
Saturday mornings are complete again, as Brian Matthew’s returns to ‘his’ show, “Sounds of the 60s” which runs 8am to 10am on BBC Radio 2 every Saturday. I know Jonnie Walker has been standing in, but there’s something comforting about the host of ‘Thank Your Lucky Stars’ (ask your Mum) playing the music he has always played.
COngratualtions on getting over you illness Brian, we missed you, welcome back.

Brian is married to my mother’s cousin and we see him and his wife Pam occasionally at family ‘dos’. As a family we can never understand why Brian has not been formally recognised for his services to broadcasting and the stage (he is also an actor – as is Pam).
