Splogs - The Best Friend of a Podcaster

An interseting few trackbacks in the comments feed of the PSP Show have led me to crack down a number of splogs that seem to be using the content of The PSP Show. Now, unlike when Ewan’s Musing was sploggified (thansk to Kathy Sierra for the heads up on that one BTW), I;ve decided to not hunt down these sploggers and shoot them like dogs. Okay they’re boosting the rankings, and maybe getting a few pennies from adsense, but because the actual content value is in the MP3 file (which stays on the TPN servers) and in the number of ears that are listening to the show.
So thanks, Mr Sploger, for continuing to drive traffic back to the MP3 file with your site. It makes me happy (but maybe next time you should de-activate the trackback ping on the attachments).
Oh and the latest PSP Show, about the top five free to download demos just went up…
