And thus, two years after I switched from doing The Mobiles Show, to TPN Rock, I’m still here. Still waving the flag for the unsigned, the unknown and the under-appreciated rock bands around the world. Last year’s first anniversary show cast an eye back over the music of that year, plus a live set from The Outfit. This year, having already had a big look back at Christmas, I didn’t feel the need to run a similar show. So, for the second anniversary, I came up with this…

…what we have here is the playlist from the very first show, TPN Rock Ep One (as it was once a week, there was no need for a Friday Rock Show moniker), but I’ve taken the time to do some investigation to find out what became of the bands in the very first show. Have they all split up? Are any of them planning to take to the stage at the V Festival this summer? Is TPN Rock a good barometer?
