Five Companies From LeWeb3 2007’s Start-up Competition

Over at IT Pro, my look at five of the start-up companies that presented at LeWeb3 2007 back in December is now live. With an eye specifically for technologies geared towards the enterprise market, which five are going to make the grade?

Oh alright then…

Zyb: Sync your mobile phone PIM info into a social network.
Louder Voice: Use micro-formats to add your own reviews to a central index.
G.ho.st: A virtual computer that uses your browser as the thin client.
Holistis: Online shopping optimised on a per user, per session basis.
Alenty: Allows web tracking and hits on dynamic powered pages (eg Ajax).

Wow, I’m thrilled and gobsmacked that you put us in the list, we really appreciate the vote of confidence!

There’s a ton of stuff coming in February which will make us useful to even more people.

Oh and we just kicked off a wee competition for some very cool Hairy Baby t-shirts.

Conor, not a problem, although history says that most pieces of ‘hot new companies’ mean they burn a spectacular death (or Gizmodo click them off), so be careful what you wish for!

    Thanks for this review, Ewan.
One comment: we do web 2.0 analytics, which means that we deal with ajax sites, but also with the community aspects of sites.
This blog is on wordpress, so you can install Who’s Hot, the tool that tells you who are your most valuable visitors. See http://www.alenty.com/xwiki/bin/view/WhoSHot/Home
Let me just wish the best for the five companies you’ve selected for this new year 2008!
And best wishes for you too!
