Skype and Windows XP Problems
Spent most of Sunday trying to chase down something annoying on my laptop – a few days ago Skype stopped working, it would just hang for no reason. No matter what I’ve tried it heads out to connect, gets two or three names, then locks up.
Interestingly, if I try another user profile on my laptop , it works. If I boot in Ubuntu on the laptop, it works. Another PC on the same wi-fi network has no issues. I think I ca say that something in my user profile on Windows XP, when starting it, is frakkin’ with Skype.
Anyone any experience of this?
