Following up on Apple’s choice to not allow some applications in thier iPhone/iPod Touch store, I’ve noted why having open routes and platforms is a good idea over on the Creative Choices blog:
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There is a lot of ‘art’ out there that many people thin is nothing but a rubbish tip. Tracey Enim springs to mind, but the delights of Banksy creating some of his art in a form of vandalism and graffiti. You may see a lot of talk about open systems and platforms on the internet - these open tools are some of the most powerful tools that a creative has.
