Happy Hogmanay From Scotland
Edinburgh is rightly world famous for its Hogmanay celebrations to see in the New Year. Lots of people (mostly ex-pats) have asked me if I was heading into town for The Bells.
Actually I did that years ago many times; now I just stand in the living room window, with a view of the Castle and the fireworks in something that wasn’t approaching freeing. So if you want to share the fireworks, then bring a 16 year old malt next year.
But for now, this is what you missed…
Sláinte!

Sláinte to you, too! And if all that’s needed is to bring some 16 yo malt, that can certainly be arranged. Even though it sounds like carrying owls to Athens or something.
The fireworks were certainly spectacular, wow.
