Lonely Planet Opens Up Blog Travel Awards Nominations
Over on The Lonely Planet Blog, Matthew Cashmore has started the process for their upcoming Travel Blog awards by asking for nominations of sites and people in the relevant categories.
They include Best Destination Blog, Best Expat Blog, Consumer travel, Travelouge, non-English… way too many for me to list. You should have a look yourself on their blog.
During the middle of February, the nominations will be compressed to a shortlist, with five websites in each, and then a mix of jury voting and public voting will take place (that sounds familiar) for the winner to be declared in March.
Good luck, Matthew!
