SXSW Interactive Social Breakfast – 2009 Edition

Following on the almost success of last year, I’m announcing the SXSW Interactive Social Breakfast for 2009. The formula for this isn’t as detailed as those put on around the world by others around the world (notably Jeff Pulver).

In short, I’m definitely going to Magnolia’s for breakfast on the morning of Saturday 14th March, at 8am. Why Magnolia’s? Because many SXSW years ago I needed breakfast – I jumped in a taxi and asked for the best local place that the driver would go to. He took me to Magnolia’s, and it’s been in my SXSW calendar ever since.

Magnolia Cafe, South Congress

So I’d be delighted if all my friends(new and old) who are going to be in Austin for the festival would come along to enjoy one of the best local restaurants I know. The address is 1920 South Congress, and I suspect many of you will need to take a $5 taxi from central Austin. It is worth it.

So add it to the diary, grab a few of your friends, and I’ll see you over pancakes. BTW there’s no table reservations or reserved rooms, just turn up, seat yourself, and see who you can recognise.

Perhaps we need stickers?

I’ll be there. I’ll be working the Alamo Ritz that morning (probably) but I don’t need to be there until 10:00 am.
